Kamila Śladowska (she/her) is a visual artist born in 1996 in Warsaw, Poland. Working primarily in painting (including also different media), she explores the relationships between humans and ecosystems in cultural and social context, refering to the philosophies of ecofeminism, posthumanism, and hydrofeminism. Śladowska does biodynamic gardening and herbalism. Her practice centers on ideas of regeneration and interconnectedness, often realized through immersive, ecosystem-like installations. Śladowska is committed to sustainable approaches in her work, incorporating recycled materials and slow, low-impact techniques to reduce the environmental footprint of painting. In 2020 the artist completed Master’s at the academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (Erasmus+ ESBAMA Montpellier) as well as costume design studies at MSKPU. Her work has been exhibited across places in the world, including the Biennial of Palermo, KID KIBLA (Maribor), Casa Hoffmann, Bogota, Symbiotic Epidermis (curated by Grey Cube Projects, London), Asbestos Art Space and Myymälä2 gallery (Helsinki), STØND LEEG Festival (Antwerp). In 2024 her artwork joined the collection of MSN („Delegation of Slippery Affairs”), in 2025 took part in a collective exhibition „Hoarding” at Galeria Pracownia Wschodnia and in 2026 the artist completed the exhibition „Garden in a shady neighbourhood” for Fringe Warsaw festival.
